Mae llawer o bobl o`r farn mai Camlas Llangollen yw`r gamlas harddaf yng Nghymru

Many people think that the Llangollen Canal is the most beautiful canal in Wales

Mae`n cymryd wythnos i deithio mewn cwch ar hyd llawn y gamlas ac yn ôl

It takes a week to travel by boat along the full length of the canal and back

Gall unrhyw un sy`n frwdfrydig dros gamlesi yn mwynhau`r daith, naill ai`n newydd neu`n brofiadol wrth drin cychod camlas

Anyone enthusiastic about canals can enjoy the trip, either new or experienced in handling canal boats

Mae`r gamlas yn llawn amrywiaeth, gyda chaeau gwastad Lloegr yn arwain at fryniau ac yna golygfeydd mynyddig o amgylch Llangollen

The canal is full of variety, with the flat fields of England leading to hills and then mountain scenery around Llangollen

Gan ddechrau yn Swydd Gaerlleon, mae`r gamlas yn rhedeg trwy bentref Wrenbury a thref yr Eglwys Newydd

Starting in Cheshire, the canal runs through the village of Wrenbury and the town of Whitchurch

Yna mae`n croesi ardal o gorsydd mawn a llynnoedd i gyrraedd tref fach Ellesmere

It then crosses an area of peat bogs and lakes to reach the small town of Ellesmere

Mae`r gamlas yn parhau heibio tir fferm i`r Waun a thrwy Dwnnel y Waun, gyda Chastell y Waun yn agos

The canal continues past farmland to Chirk and through the Chirk Tunnel, with Chirk Castle close by

Mae`n croesi o Loegr i Gymru dros Draphont Ddŵr y Waun ac yna`n parhau i Draphont Ddŵr Bontcysyllte syfrdanol Thomas Telford

It crosses from England into Wales over the Chirk Aqueduct then continues to Thomas Telford`s breathtaking Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

Mae hyn yn cludo`r gamlas mewn cafn haearn ar draws dyffryn dwfn Afon Dyfrdwy ar uchder o 120 troedfedd

This carries the canal in an iron trough across the deep valley of the River Dee at a height of 120 feet

Mae`r gamlas yn cofleidio ochrau serth dyffryn Dyfrdwy cyn mynd i mewn i Langollen ar arglawdd uchel

The canal hugs the steep sides of the Dee valley before entering Llangollen on a high embankment

Taith fer y tu hwnt i Langollen mae Rhaeadr y Bedol, lle mae`r gamlas yn cymryd ei chyflenwad dŵr o Afon Dyfrdwy

A short walk beyond Llangollen are the Horseshoe Falls, where the canal takes its water supply from the River Dee

O amgylch Llangollen, gall ymwelwyr deithio yn ôl mewn amser a mynd ar daith mewn cwch cul tynnu gan geffyl

Around Llangollen, visitors can travel back in time and take a trip by horse drawn narrow boat
